Dr. Modaresi is the founder and owner of Injury & Wellness Specialists of Georgia. She graduated from Life University in 2010 with a Doctorate of Chiropractor. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Modaresi is a state board certified Chiropractor and is also Certified in Physical Therapy Modalities. She is also an active member of the Georgia Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Modaresi holds additional certification from the Personal Injury Institute, which specializes in the treatment of soft tissue injuries that are the direct results of auto accidents. She also received certification in the Webster technique from International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, which allows her to treat pregnant women and children. She has taken extensive post-graduate courses in spinal decompression, disc disorders, Personal Injury, Colossus, Activator, Nutrition, Arthrostim, extremity adjusting, Impulse adjusting techniques, and rehabilitation.
Dr. Modaresi has been featured in many magazines, such as My Alpharetta, Best Self Atlanta as Best Chiropractic Care Practice, Best of Gwinnett, Verdict, and The Georgia Chiropractor. Injury and Wellness Specialists of Georgia have been recognized by The Best of Gwinnett, as the Best Chiropractic Practice in 2018, 2019, and most recently 2020. Georgia Chiropractic Association recognized Dr. Modaresi as Renaissance Woman. In 2020 The National Consumer Advisory Board awarded Dr. Modaresi with America's Best Chiropractors 2020, based on evidence of superior training, experience, continuing education, and commitment to excellence.
Her mission is to improve the health and quality of life of her patients and their families by using the most updated, innovative, and non-invasive methods and equipment. She attends multiple professional seminars each year to stay on the cutting edge of Chiropractic Care. She is also a mentor and leader to young future Chiropractors, by being an extended faculty of Life University.
Dr. Modaresi enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends. She enjoys staying active, dancing, cycling, and traveling, and loves basketball, which she played from a young age through college, and was also the team captain for most of those years. Her new passion is playing tennis.
